I am currently living with someone who I know to be a former addict of crystal meth. This person is staying in our apartment because they are a friend of my roommate, this person does not pay rent, they are supossed to be finding a job.
But this person believes that there is a secret government society messing with their mind and controlling their actions. When this person fails at a task, they blame it on this secret society. This person claims that they failed a written drivers license test because their mind was being messed with when really they failed because they did not study beforehand.
This person seems happy and talkative and friendly most of the time but occasionally has mood swings during which they barge in on anyone who will listen and yell loudly about the secret society or the christians or catholics. Sometimes they slam objects around. They always talk to themselves, mutter to themselves and if nobody is around to yell at, they will yell to themselves. This person often goes out for walks.
Are these all long term affects from when this person did crystal meth in the past? Or is this person doing crystal meth while living with us?
